How To Take Couple Pictures Yourself

couplein vancouver

Just 1 day to Valentine’s Day! Yay!! Time to exchange gifts and click some cute romantic pictures to giggle over later 😀 . Well, Pashant and I always liked to take couple pictures ever since before marriage. But there aren’t always friends around. When we go on trips and visit new places , we like to take self portraits. Selfies through phone are good but sometimes you really wanna make the most of your DSLR.

I often get this question, who clicks our pictures. Well I would say , it’s no person. Our Auto Cam mode does 😀 .  We usually keep our camera anywhere we think would capture the right frame . Then Prashant adjusts the frame while I stand at my position. Then he sets the time to few secs and jumps to his position.  We could ask strangers to take our pictures but we’re usually  so picky. We like to try multiple poses before finalizing a pic. You can’t expect a stranger to stay there for you right. Also we can actually see what frame is captured , how the angle is . You don’t get to see that when a stranger clicks. Thus we’re most comfortable when we take pictures ourselves and it most of the times gives best results 😀

All you gotta do is put you camera somewhere where you would have a nice background. Keep it on the floor, or be it a chair or a rock. Yeah, we’ve done it all.  Make the other person stand at his position, look in the LCD and test your pose. If you feel that this is how you would like it then click the button and try your pose again. It’s really fun and we’ve got some amazing pictures like this. You gotta play with your poses and it helps if you have chemistry between you two , because it shows and the picture automatically comes out beautiful.

    1. Did you guyz also carry tripod? Or what did u use to angle or position camera?
    2. Is only 50mm lens was enough for all pics?
