Karwa Chauth

green saree with border karwachauth

Hello People 🙂 So, how are you guys spending your weekend? Most of my married friends must have celebrated ‘KarwaChauth‘ yesterday. So how was it? It was my 5th but 2nd official(after marriage) KarwaChauth yesterday . And man how much I love this festival! First of all, I miss wearing Sarees in Amsterdam so damn much! It’s only on these occasions that your ethnic wear ever sees the light of the day. I have so many dresses from my wedding which which aren’t out of their packing yet!  Yay! I’m so excited for Diwali already 🙂 .

This Saree is actually designed by my mom. She prepared this Saree before my wedding hence it holds a special place in my heart. She put a golden lace on the border which is the highlight of the Saree. I prefer Sarees with border any day over sans-border. So, how was your KarwaChauth ? Did your husband come on time? :p Lemme know in the comments below 😀 Have a great Saturday 🙂

P.S – I draped this Saree in 5 minutes (and I’m out of practice) so there definitely are visible errors :p
