My Wedding Series – Lagan

So how many of you have started getting wedding invitations?  It’s gonna be the wedding season soon. Love those months, I’m gonna miss them big time this year. It’s been so long since I attended a wedding. Love the whole feel about Indian weddings. Getting dressed in grand ethnic clothes, putting on loads of makeup, meeting friends and eating till you can’t stuff yourself up any more. Oh I miss Indian Weddings so much.

But the best experience is when you’re the one to get married. I still can’t forget the whole experience I had when I got married last year. Indian traditions, beautiful ceremonies, it all feels so blissful and divine.  The first ceremony was ‘Lagan’ which means “Wedding Invitation Card Writing”. The first invitation card is offered to the Almighty, Kula Devata to seek blessings. It is the beginning of a new beginning. There is no turning back from here 🙂

Since it was a family event I wore this cotton Red and Beige Pajami suit for the occasion. It was tailored by our local tailor. (Please don’t mind the blue nail paint, I had to change multiple dresses in a day :p) Take a look below 🙂
