If you guys follow me on Instagram then you might be knowing that Prashant and I visited Berlin last weekend. It was such a dive into the city’s history. Mesmerizing culture , bold architecture, Berlin kept us going for 3 days. We learned what this city went through during the Wars, how everything was destroyed and returned to ashes. We could still see the black walls from smoke from bombings , bullet holes in various buildings and historic architectures. One can only imagine what the people had to go through during the World Wars. And then there was Berlin Wall which divided the city into East and West Berlin. So many people sacrificed their lives in this city once administered by Hitler.
We explored the city by visiting its many museums, getting to know its popular quarters, discovering the new old , east and west. Visiting Berlin was an eye opening and emotional experience.
I didn’t want a carry a lot of luggage thus I took just 1 coat for the weekend. I layered my look with a scarf and this coat to keep warm and comfortable during the day.
