I moved to Amsterdam last year and have been loving here ever since. It is a really beautiful and free place. I specially love the Canals in Amsterdam and Netherlands is so green and scenic. Fashion wise, Amsterdam is pretty easy going and it’s all about comfort and white sneakers here. I like Dutch fashion but lately I’ve been missing my traditional Indian wear. I’m always waiting for occasions like Diwali and Karchauth to wear my beloved Silk Saris and cotton suits which get to see the light of the day only once a year now.
I recently stumbled upon this site Nicobar and have been so thankful that I finally found the solution to my longing. The site carries such gorgeous collection of Ethnic wear which I can definitely incorporate in my western wear. I’m really excited that fabrics like Chanderi , Cotton Silk , Chambray are finally in my reach in the form of tunics, dresses and trousers . Clothes, which I can finally wear everyday, without Dutchies rolling their eyes.
Here I tried this look with a cotton silk tie top in Fuschia and Ivory Jodhpurs. the look is really cool and super comfy. The fabric is so light and lets your skin breathe during the summer months. I also got some more items from the website because I just couldn’t get enough of our beautiful indian fabrics.
