I’m one of those lucky ones who got to celebrate their birthday in nature’s arms with their loved ones next to them. Me and Prasath did a little trip to Denmark last weekend to celebrate my Birthday (20th August) . Yay! We headed to Møns Klint ( Cliffs of Mon island) from Copenhagen last Saturday. It was such an adventurous and fun day at Mon island. The place is not very touristy and there are not many hotels there. We were lucky enough to find a guest house at Mon. We took the guest house bikes and pedalled our way through the yellow wheat fields to the white chalk cliffs. Cycling through the forests on sudden slopes was one scary yet adventurous trip.
Once we reached the Møns Klint, we had to step down through some stairs of 496 steps . Once we reached the bottom, it was a view like no other! Huge chalk cliffs that rise up to 143m, fierce blue sea touching the base , rocks like pebbles on the shore, the view was worth the trip. The cliffs were formed around 11000 years ago at the end of ice age when the ice melted. Thus the chalk carries fossils from old microscopic creatures that lived in the ice age. Sounds amusing right! I even carried a chalk piece with me back home 😀 . We spent the next 2 days exploring Copenhagen which I’m gonna share a post about pretty soon.
It was a hot day and I had to ride a bike, so I wore this comfortable cotton silk dress from Nicobar . I’ve already talked about them and how comfortable their clothing is in this post. The asymmetrical hem is pretty chic and don’t even get me started on polka dots! Well it was a stylish and comfortable choice I would say. Thanks for reading. Take care.
