GUCCI mocks the fakes with GUCCY

Gucci is known to take risks and stir things up. Alessandro Michele mocks the counterfeit products with the playful misspelt lettering “GUCCY” in the Cruise 18 collection. The collection is full of cat and tiger embroidered appliques and kingsnake, wolf and panther prints on oversized cotton sweaters and sweatshirts. You could also spot the lettering such as “GUCCIFY YOURSELF”, “GUCCIFICATION” among others.

The collection also introduced the Ophidia small shoulder bag. The bag is designed to a domed shape reminiscent of the house’s 1970s designs. The bag comes in various colours and prints. This particular vintage styled bag has snaking dragon embroidered on midnight-blue suede. The chains hold the GG logo.
