Love in Paris – Day 3

Day 3 in Paris was all about the most famous French Staples. Eiffel tower and Louvre museum. We had visited Effiel Tower on Day 1 on our Wedding Anniversary but it was at night when it was scintillating every hour on the hour. But we never got the chance to witness its beauty up close in day light and get to the top. Well we did just that on Day 3.

The queues were crazy! It took us around 2 hours to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower. But once we made it, just one word, it was AWESOME! The world looks so small from the top. Everything looked so tiny! Les Invalides, Arc de Triomphe, Seine River, we could see the whole Paris in 360 degrees.

Once we got down I was determined to get one perfect couple picture. I was hellbent that I wouldn’t move from this place until I get a nice picture even if we have to spend the whole day. Well we did get a frame worthy couple photo with Eiffel Tower in the backdrop 🙂 .

After some snaps we moved to the world’s largest museum, Musee du Louvre. This building was just huge! It was impossible to visit the whole museum in one day. We managed to explore just 1/3th of it. We explored Egyptian antiquities, Greek, Etruscan, and Roman sections, Decorative arts and Paintings including the world famous Mona Lisa.

In the evening we shopped around the Louvre Shopping Mall and after our dinner called the day off. Thank you so much for reading. Enjoy your Sunday everyone 🙂
