Whoa!! Like really!! Its ‘Shrads‘ first birthday today guys and I still don’t believe it! One year has passed too fast I guess but it has been the one with full of adventures and discoveries. It all started a year back when my sister Pooja and husband Prashant suggested me to start my own style blog. I always wanted to share my passions with the world. The beautiful things I witness everyday, little new discoveries . Prashant himself had been tech blogging for a while now so he helped me setup the domain and other ‘techie things’ 😉 . And he’s the backbone of ‘SHRADS‘ . He’s the one behind the camera clicking all the gorgeous pictures. The guy could have been difficult if he wanted to but he has always been there for me. So many times I dragged him on a relaxing Sunday to go out and click my pictures in shitty weather but never did he once complained. I can get really annoying at times when I want a particular frame or setting, but Prashant is always so calm and forgiving that I feel guilty later. I’m so blessed to have him as my husband who’s been helping me in following my passions and dreams.
So much has changed in a year, my fashion style has changed, my editing style has changed, now I’m at more ease while editing a post. I’m so glad that I ever started this space. I’ve done so many interesting collaborations, travelled the world, received gorgeous gifts and most of all, shared a part of my life and received a huge response which I’m so so grateful for. Today Shrads is a community of almost 50,000 readers coming together and sharing their views and love at one place.
So much has happened in this one year. I travelled to so many places like Prague, Italy, India, Berlin and Greece . Collaborated with brands like Daniel Wellington, MVMT watches, Lipsy London and many more. Got a new job in Amsterdam. On Shrads, I try to show you the best parts which involve beautiful imagery and luxurious feel, however so much goes on behind the scenes. There’s hard work involved, stress, dissent and lack of sleep. It’s not easy to manage your full time day job as a Software Developer and still generate continuous content for your blog. But you guys have kept me going. Receiving your encouraging comments and liking my work inspires me to give something back to you. There’s only one thing I can say to you guys, a big bold THANK YOU!!! Thank you for all your support all this long, your messages, wishes, greetings, compliments and even your criticism. Shrads is a window to my heart and you guys are a big part of it. Thank you for reading and wish you all the success . XOXOXOXO
