The Palace of Versailles

Hey Guys! How are you all doing? Feels like it’s been ages since I last posted a Lookbook/Travel post. Well I was busy celebrating my birthday last weekend so here’s the due post 🙂 . I’m gonna be finishing the Paris series with this last post. So on Day 4 we visited the Palace of Versailles which is located about 16 kilometers southwest of Paris, it is beside the settlement of Versailles. The Palace was huge! So we dedicated a complete day to check it out.

The Palace was magnificent. Each room was a marvel on its own. Such details, paintings and carvings and everything GOLD! Did they read my mind or what! (I love gold 😉 ) The best part was the Hall of Mirrors with multiple chandeliers hanging from the ceiling brightening up the whole hall. The Palace was spectacular in every way possible. The gardens were huge and represent one of the finest extant examples of  Garden à la française in French garden design. Well there’s even a movie dedicated to the Palace’s gardens named ‘The King’s Gardens‘ starring Kate Winslet. Well we watched the movie and enjoyed it because it was all about this awesome place we had been to.

Paris was cold when we visited Chateau de Versailles so I opted for this oversized sweater and white skinny jeggings. I wore flats because my feet gave up on me by Day 4 in Paris, so I made up for the style quotient by including these giant oval sunglasses. Thanks for reading the post folks! Have fun! Love XOXO
