Since we live in Amsterdam, we don’t get Indian groceries in stores easily. We order our groceries online every month which end up at our door in big cardboard boxes. I don’t really like to throw away the boxes. Or should I say, I don’t like to throw away anything. I feel like reusing something to the max before you can throw it. Also recycling things gives my inner creative goddess a chance to exercise her magic. I have made so many things out of these boxes already. They’re huge and I keep thinking of ways to use them. My recent creation is this Makeup Stand with Buttons glued to it. Its dirt cheap and is such an easy DIY project.
Materials :
- Wrapping Paper or Gift Wrap
- 2 Packets of colorful Buttons
- Glue
- Scissors
- Tape
Steps :
- Using Tape, seal the Cardboard Box so that it is is completely closed.
- Apply glue on the box and wrap the cardboard Box with the Gift Wrap.
- Using Glue, stick colorful buttons on the gift wrap.
- Tada! Admire your newly created Makeup Stand
This DIY took me around 40 mins and that’s it, I have my Makeup Stand kept next to my Mirror for easy access. Let me know how you like this DIY project in the comments below.
